A colourful 'world tour' cover with stamps and franking from Europe, North, Central and South America. Departed Bergau, Germany on July 7th 1909, destined for Paris. Then to London on the 16th July and onwards to Mexico on the 20th. On September 19th the letter went to New York and south to San Miguel, El Salvador on October 4th before arriving in Pernambuco on October 20th, finally arriving back at Burgau via Buernos Aires on January 11th 1910. Destination signatures (presumably by postmasters?) to the reverse. Vertical crease. A remarkable and highly attractive cover.
